Graduate of an accredited school

Licensure

Posses a compact License
Certification
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), or
Basic Life Support (BLS)

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
LPN/LVN
Licensure:
Licensed or eligible for licensing in the state of Virginia as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Active LPN license in the state of Virginia.
Certification
BLS/CPR
Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Well informed on techniques and principles of caring for pediatric and/or elderly population
Be sensitive and responsive to the needs of the clients

Experience
Experience in a long-term care facility.
Experience with pediatrics and/or geriatrics preferred.
Minimum of one years of documented experience with pediatrics, geriatrics or both.
Education
Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate
High school diploma or GED
Licensure
Licensed or eligible for licensing in the state of Virginia as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Active CNA license in the state of Virginia.
